The suspense is killing me!
The good news is that my cosplay is sorted out, as I gave it a short test run in my house today.
The bad news is that I have to work tonight, and Sac-Anime is the only thing that'll be on my mind...
I should be there around 9AM, way before anything else opens so that I can help out in setting up.
We're almost there...and finally the counter is counting down in hours and minutes, not days...

Riding the week out...
It's Wednesday, and I'm trying to ride the week out waiting for Sac-Anime to slap me over the head Thursday night (lol).
I have the majority of the itinerary laid down, and I know what to take with me to get autographed. I'm going to get the majority of my FMA DVDs (both boxsets and the movie) signed by all three of them, plus my badge by all guests!
I'm probably going to have my FMA cosplay on Saturday and Sunday, since Saturday is the main gathering and the Masquerade is on Sunday.
I think I'm ready...

Cosplay Preview: FMA State Military Uniform
I wanted to wait a bit longer to show everyone what I got up my sleeve for Sac-Anime in January, but I just couldn't wait!
First off, I'd like to thank the people who made it (Yes, I'll be honest: this is a commissioned creation. Then agian, I have no time to sow or do that kind of fancy stuff.), as they did a wonderful job of creating my idea!
As you can see, it's not the correct color - this one is in a custom black that I had asked for. Either than that, it's pretty much the same State Military uniform.

Sac-Con Dec. 2007 Report
Ah, the last Sac-Con of the year, the last one before Sac-Anime in January. For many of us, this is a time to fine-tune our costumes and acting skills (via the Cosplay Contest) for the huge show in January.
I must say that the quality of guests is improving rapidly - especially when Doug Jones, the man who played Silver Surfer in the 2nd Fantastic Four movie, is in the house. Unforunately, he was charging $20 an autograph, and I all I wanted as for him to sign my badge, something that I should of started back in January of this year. Then again, that's the norm of comic conventions, and to anime convention attendees who usually get their autographics for free it's a bit of a shock.
The cosplay contest was good again, and whoever thought of using Phoenix Wright with a skit to explain the rules of the contest is brilliant. Seriously, that should be done at the January show. I only have three videos, though, that I recorded off my camera - that skit, the last candy giveaway, and when we all sang Sac-Con's version of "The 12 Days of Christmas." I have the last two up, and after some talk with the group who did the beginning skit I got the green light to post it on YouTube; however, it's in maintainence mode so I'll have to wait until tommorrow.
I'm also trying to get all the photos (OVER 400!) online, so that will be up soon. Expect a post with some of my favorite shots soon.
