ALA 2010 Non-Vlog Day Two - Early Morning

After wandering around seeing what else the con had to offer in the late night, I've decided to call it a night here. Besides, I have to take care of business first thing in the morning after I eat breakfast...then the real fun starts on Day Two.

Looking For ALA Pictures By Me?

Because of the huge memory card size (and to my surprise, good battery life), I won't be doing day batches of photos from ALA. Instead, expect a huge picture dump next week when all of them get sorted and uploaded.

Oh, and by "huge picture dump" I mean about 1500-2000+ photos. I'm approaching 500 and it's only Friday.

ALA Day Zero Vblog Update

I won't be doing a Vblog tonight, but odds are I will do one once I get established at the airport since I'll probably be there super early. Other than that, I'm just counting down the hours...

2 Days From ALA Update

As we move into two days left until ALA, one thing's for sure - I'm coming down there with a better digital camera. I ditched my old Sony 7.2MP for a Samsung 10MP, which I hope will result in better looking pictures.

I'm really excited to be down there this weekend, and I can't wait!

As We Get Closer to ALA

As we get closer to ALA, things are mostly ready. As I mentioned before, since I did laundry last Sunday all my clothes and cosplays are packed; all I need to pack is my toiletries and my laptop among some small items which will be done Thursday or early Friday. I can also print out my boarding pass on Thursday.

The main thing for me is to get some sleep on Thursday. Since I have to close at work on Thursday night, I'm going to be in a rush to take care of things like ironing when I get home because I have to wake up at 4 in the morning. I'm aiming to be at Sac International by 5:30 if not earlier since my flight is at 7 and Southwest is recommending me that I be there an hour and a half early.

I may have a pre-con vblog up Thursday night if I can get one up, if not I'll have one when I get my laptop established at the hotel Friday morning.

Naturally, my post numbers would be up each year since 2007.

2007 - 100 posts
2008 - 130 posts
2009 - 169 posts

One of my goals is to near 200 posts - 200 posts of relevant coverage, of course.

Anyways, (technically) 6 days until ALA...Happy New Years everyone and get crackin' on those last second costumes and plans!
